Beat The Heat!

I am loving the heat.  And not the prima donnas celebrating down in South Beach.

The more I sweat, the hard I feel I am working.   I played racquetball 5 times this week.  Last night after work, I biked to the local high school and ran some stadium steps and also did a circuit of jogging and push ups.  I think I am going to have a very good loss on the scale when I weigh in tomorrow morning.

I hope everybody continues on their journey to wellness.  One more month in this contest, but many many more years of happy lives for all of us.

6-21-12

Yesterday was a long day for sure, probably the longest day of the year in my opinion.   But I was able to get through it.

I have having a good month so far.   It is nice not having to travel which allows me to follow a more regimented schedule of exercise and nutrition.   I have been averaging 3-4 racquetball matches a week, throw in 18-36 holes of golf a week, a couple hundred push ups a week, a few miles on the bike a week, a few miles walking a week, 2 softball games a week, and yardwork.

I am confident I will have a loss in weight at next week’s weigh in after two months of gaining weight.  I do not want to see myself in last place again.

6-18-12

12 more days until weigh in, and I am confident I will not have a third consecutive month with a gain.  Been getting in 3-4 racquetball matches per week the last two weeks and will continue that this week.

Still feeling great.  I simply need to continue concentrating and focusing on the nutrition plan and I will do great

2 more months

I was on a golf trip this weekend, but saw today’s article when I got home.   Congrats to all the contestants who have shown great losses so far.   Looks like it is time for me to kick it into gear, so I do not finish last.

Major props to Lisa and Kate for being at 20% and 19% weight loss.  Those are great numbers.   Please keep up the good work ladies.

Planning on playing racquetball at least 3 times this week, and on the days I do not, those will be P90X2 workout days.

TGIF

One more day until weigh in.

The scale has not moved much in the last two months, aside from going up a little bit.   However, I am in the best shape I have been in since I was in my twenties.   So that definitely has me feeling good.   I am going to have to cut back on the cocktails in the evenings and weekends these next 56 days so I can get in even better shape and lose some more of my belly.

It will be tough with a wedding and some golf trips and golf outings in these next 57 days, but I am confidence in myself.
